Founded in community development principles, the Students' Library Project:
- Invites expat children attending international schools to establish a library or reading room for their peers in under financed local schools, forming friendships and cross-cultural understanding along the way
- Empowers young leaders by providing international school student councils with the tools and strategies they need to drive each project by fundraising and working in partnership with local schools
- Provides local teachers with more resources to teach and lets local children (who have not had access to a library at school) experience the magic of books
- Gives at least one book per child to launch the library. So a school with 500 students = a library with 500 books!
- Encourages the expat community to continue to make a difference in their local community.
